Stretching from the parallels 30º to 40º South Latitude, there are few places in the world as well suited for viticulture as Chile’s plentiful wine valleys. The breezes that blow in from the Pacific Ocean, the sheltering Andes Mountains, perfectly balanced soils and pristine rivers flowing from the mountaintops, constitute an ideal environment for the noblest grapes to grow. At the same time, these climatic and geographic traits serve as natural barriers that protect the vineyards nested between them.
